CAVE EXPLORATION

SHETANI LAVA
The volcanic hills of chyulu, ash cones and craters are outstanding examples of the major stages of the earth's
history . The landscape also includes caves that are fascinating to explore- most notably, the Shetani caves, consisting of two large openings with an ancient tree growing between them and the Man Eaters cave, which contain human bones.
The Chyulu Hills are one of the Kenya's most photogenic regions - an area of rolling open plains interrupted by hills, which run for about 30 miles in a series of whale backed summits. This is a magical area of ragged craters, rolling grassland, exotic aromatic plants and cedar forest.
